I'm not fond of them because I haven't found one that appeals to me. They're almost always too heavy in the front end, they're too straight in the shoulder, they have shorter hips, generally lack heartgirth, and they almost always have shorter, thicker, low-set necks. They don't look balanced to me.

That one looks to have a little bit more TB or race blood behind him than most I've seen. They would have to have race blood on both sides of the pedigree to make a difference in their phenotype, and usually the TB blood counts against them in the foundation registries.
