Yeah, I was trying to figure out what movie that was from the other day. My friend who is gay (and hilariously phobic around horses) says it's a reference to gay culture in the 70s and 80s--you know, the whole Village People thing.

In any case, it's usually said to me by some balding, pot-bellied, middle-aged skeeve who thinks asking about the state of my behind is flirtatious. (Shudder...) What is it about tall boots or chaps and a whip that gets some guys going? Barf.
