A craptacular "family" horse breeder
-Has poorly conformed or lame breeding stock, from unknown lines. Animals might be purebred, but pedigrees have no focus...mishmash with no goal.
-Advertises offspring as prospects for everything, but focuses on the "family" part.
-Has little to no follow up on the products of their program, and is very vague about accomplishments. (oh yeah, we think they've got him undersaddle finally...)
-Sells animals that are totally incapable of doing anything BUT being pets...through conformation, athleticism or attitude.

You could easily substitute "show" for "family".

Trust me, there are show horses that can putter around the ring and that's it. Many have soundness, temperament, health problems, etc. I don't know why you think this is isolated to "family" horses.

Instead of advocating breeding better quality horses in general, you are fixated on foundation QHs, family horses, backyard breeders, etc. That is why you lose credibility.

Finally, not any horse is cut out to be a family horse, a trail horse, or a superior non-show horse. The qualifications are just as stringent as they are for a WP champion.
