I take a multi-vitamin and biotin (hair, skin, and nails). I'm sure I do use stuff from the multi-vitamin, and pee out some. I have no clue if the biotin actually does anything, but it's not expensive. I also started on fish oil and flax oil pills cause they were on sale. I mean, $8 for a 6 month supply is really not something that concerns me. I haven't been taking those long enough to see much improvement, but really they help your heart health so I don't know if I would notice improvement.

I still like to try and eat healthier foods, but when I think about it, it is impossible to eat the recommended amount of fruits, grains, dairy, meats, etc in a day! You would have to be really regimented and dedicated. So I'd rather supplement my fruits and even dairy benefits and focus on eating meats and grains or something. But really, I try to keep it as varied as I have time for.
