I didn't read the whole thread, but I had an experience with a ghost.

My first apartment was haunted. More so the bedroom and bathroom. One night I was baby-sitting my friends dog and in the middle of the night, I woke up. I felt this pressure on me...not like someone sitting on me, but as though someone was reaching up from below the matress and pulling me down into it. I couldn't move and the pressure got greater and greater. A few minutes into it I started to get angry instead of afraid and made an attempt to move my arm. No good. I couldn't move -anything-. But for at least 2 more minutes I was straining like hell to move my arm. It finally let up and I could move...the dog had vanished from the bedroom.

It wasn't dreaming because the next day the arm I tried to move was terribly sore. All the tendons and muscles from my elbow down ached like hell and it took a few days for it to recover from the strain.

Since then I slept on the couch in the living room. I wouldn't go back into my bedroom for more than 2 seconds to get clothes. I literally moved my dresser and everything else I needed into the hallway so I wouldn't have to go back in. The toilet started running after that. Randomly. Nothing wrong with it - it never ran before, but at least once a day it would start running and it wouldn't stop until I went in there to stop it. I'd have terrible dreams about the entity coaxing me back into the bedroom. It came to me a few more times in my dreams before I finally got the nerve to say "This is MY apartment. YOU will leave, and I will NOT". It literally SCREAMED at me...and then that was the last time I ever really felt it. The toilet stopped running and nothing else out of the ordinary happened. I never went back into the bedroom though.

Thats the only negative experience I've ever had with a ghost.
