Thanks to you all for the comments, I for got to say also I got my mare for free also almost every horse at our barn really cheap 3 were free and i think the most someone payed was a grand and that was for the belgian w/ her saddle. But any ways like my friend added all the horses are kept on pasture 24/7 and rotated with the sheep at the farm so they all get what they need since the BO has had a pasture specilst out to give her tell her a rotation schedule that would work for all the animals.

As far as her raising her head she does a at times not as bad as when I first got her she pointed her nose and her head was high, then I put the bit in I ride with now and it made a totall difference right away shes not soo bad but she does try to fight the bit more now which this spring I'm going to try to work with her more with giving to the bit and having her round her self out like you all have said.

As far as her grain BH I feed her supream extream from our land mark grain mills and its mixed with a bare essential grain, she also gets her alfalfa cubes now and shes still on fluid flex for her joints and oil mixed in with her grain. Here is a graph of all the feeds from Land mark and what is in them.
