I work for a gov't contractor and there's a plethora of various talents in the military. Now, they will tell you exactly how to eat, sleep, and shit while you're in there but they do find your talent and work with it. And most employers love ex-military because they don't bitch and whine about stupid shit. They're completely over it and generally have a good work ethic.
And word to the wise, please, finish your degree. That will go a very long way in the military and out. And it's actually easier and cheaper to get that degree while still enlisted.
