Go for eventing! It looks like he likes to jump and not bad either! His hip and shoulder angles are that of a jumper. But if he also has the moves for dressage, LUCKY YOU!!!!
Fjords btw are wonderfully sturdy small horses, and hardy as can be.
I have seen many of them jump in the shows next to Warmbloods and doing well.
And that he can hold himself in a "on the bit" position, he proves in picture #2...
