GitanosMommy: Yeah, 4 is really young, and he is immature. But what scares me is that he doesn't have up and down days, its like he has good days for a month (small random spooks don't bother me too much), then he will have a few random days where he acts literally insane. It's just like a switch goes off, and its pure terror. He isn't really being "bad", he just acts terrified. I will get on his back, the same as I had for a month before hand, and he will just flip out and run for his life. It is bizarre, I've worked with a lot of arabs and green horses before, but I've never had one that flips as badly as him. My parent's aren't really rushing me to get rid of him, but they want me to sell my quarter horse (I just got a good offer on him), and keep my arab. I am trying to decide if I should keep the QH, regain confidence, and sell my arab, or sell the QH and wait it out with the arab. I don't want to miss out on this offer for my QH, and in my condition I can't handle one horse, let alone 2.

ottbpolo: I should be fine, just lots of bed rest, and possibly surgery. Sitting in bed with nothing to do other then stress about my horses is getting to me though a bit, as I'm sure it shows. I deffinitly would have a first refusal in writing, I just don't even know who would be willing to take him at this point, other than some shady horse trader, which I dont want to submit him to. :-/
