Truth.

PWDs are 'hypoallergenic'. Instead of fur, their coat is more of a 'hair' consistency. They don't have major shedding seasons like most dogs do, but rather, shed like people do-a little at a time, consistently. They're very people-friendly, pleasing dogs. I absolutely love this breed. I grew up with it.

However, the one thing I personally am leery of is that it can be a *very* high energy dog and can end up being destructive if not managed properly. here's to hoping someone knows what they're doing in that household! (Add to the fact that it requires regular grooming-most dogs you 'should' brush fairly regularly, but the PWD will get matted if you don't). Hopefully they can be responsible owners.
