I am going to call on this mare today and see if I can go look at her. As far as having a foal around, I know it would be additional work and responsibility. I have had a weanling before and a yearling, but don't have a ton of experience with foaling. If I were to get her I would have the vet out asap to have a look at her. I also have a good friend up the road from me that is very experienced with foaling and would be helping me. I don't know, I just feel bad for her. I would have to sell the foal at some point or just find him a good home. I have also worked at two horse farms and have some experience handling and being around "new borns", but not a lot with the actual foaling process. We have a nice big stall with a paddock that has very safe fencing and it would be a perfect place for a mama and baby. Anyway, I will let everyone know what happens! Thanks for the advice.

ETA: My heart says: Go get her NOW, Today! But I am trying to be responsible and think it through and use my head as well. Thank you all for being a voice of reason.
