Thank you, Apples! That is a big compliment coming from you. I appreciate everyone's feedback so far. Basically it sounds like we should do Halter just for fun and not expect to win anything (which I'm perfectly fine with). It'll just be an extra opportunity to get her in the show pen other than showmanship until I have her under saddle. I blame myself for buying a stock horse with weird conformation...previously I always worked with Thoroughbreds, so her weedy little legs didn't bother me too much when I first looked at her. Fortunately they are straight and clean, if not necessarily big on bone.
