mmm tomatoes, I love home grown tomatoes

To the OP, I agree this is annoying people taking in horses they can't afford, especially if they breed or allow the horses to lose condition and then dump them again.
I can understand legitimate rescues with limited funds needing help to initially bail a horse if they have a home for it or the means to care for it long term, usually the help doesn't seem to extend past the purchase and initial vet. On the flip side I see rescues that are refusing horses because they know their limits (hello being responsible for those animals in their care) and then getting criticized by people who want to help more horses from afar (like donations only-but only so much as the purchase price, not the upkeep).
