Thanks, Taldora, for accepting my blanket apology. I hope everyone else understand a bit too. And thanks, Lavender, for your sentiments, I hope it improves too!
Pooky I have to agree with the "chatspeak" issue. I feel I'm ageing myself when I ask, "what does that mean?". We live with a generation of texting and computer guroos, and we must conform, hard as it is.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this one yet:
It seems like, on this board in particular, a brand new person will come in, ask for advice on a specific training or health issue, get us all going against each other about it, and disappears. I have seen that happen several times and have often ended the post saying something like, "has anybody else notice the poster has disappeared but we are all still trying to figure out the problem?" I often wonder if this is someones "alter", or a troll from another board, or just an innocent bystander that just happened in at the right moment. Shoot, Sweetpea came in just the other day and her very first post was a gruesome photo of a horses chest with a blown out abscess. I was having a bad day, and got critical right off the bat (not like me at all!). She accepted my apology and she has already become a valued member here.
I guess Im saying, I dont like trouble makers.
