Declawed cats aren't necessarily more aggressive- they just don't have the ability to scratch, so they skip that step and go straight to biting.

I adopted a declawed cat a few years ago, and she had some mental issues. She would scratch at smooth surfaces, and wouldn't touch her litterbox. She'd poop in the bathtub, which was annoying to walk into at 6am when you want to shower. I eventually figured out she'd use the litter box sometimes if I topped it off with enough soft sand, but she usually pooped in the tub. You could NOT touch her feet. For the first few months I had her she'd bite you with any provocation, eventually we got her out of that habit. I loved that cat and felt so bad- she was the typical story to the irresponsible cat owner. They got her as a kitten, got her declawed, gave her some crappy habits, and dumped her at a shelter when they moved. Last year she got out of the house (strictly indoor) and was probably attacked, she just never showed up again. Stupid cat, but I still miss her snuggles.

Anyway, lame story. Sorry. But yeah, declawing kind of sucks. Like Ev said, if you want nice things then buy a fishtank.
