I really only have experience in the medical field, but there are a lot of classes, courses, and programs available to you that don't take years to obtain. I know we live in different states, but I am sure your state would have the same resources, if not better. I am in Louisiana.

To have a barn like what you are talking about is going to take money. You have to make that money somewhere. Without education, you are not going to make enough to live on and save for that barn.

Also, consider part-time status at a local college. You can work and go to school at the same time. Most degrees have the same pre-requisites. Taking one or two classes a semester wouldn't be too bad. Think about it; it's one hour, three days a week in class. The rest is up to you.
