I have caught myself letting things go that I typically wouldn't. I think it's because I know my horse pretty well now. I pretty much know the extent of his bad behavior. How far he will go. Sometimes I know when it's easier to just let him throw a fit as opposed to starting a fight with him over what constitutes good behavior. So I tend to "choose my battles" and I opt to let things slide while tacking up and save my energy for the ride.

But that said, he's been very good lately. But we haven't done a lot of the things that bring out his impatience, like tying. As the routine goes, I tack up in the stall while he's finishing dinner. So we avoid "training opporunities" that way. lol.
