Hehe I think we kinda use it as a term of endearment around here when describing our perfectly attractive but not breeding quality animals. I don't call my boy Fugly, because in my admittedly biased view, he's perfect in every way (which includes being ball-less). I think a lot of people describe their horse as fugly simply as a disclaimer so they don't have to hear someone give a conformation critique when they're just posting a fun picture. *eta* GrotesqueLullaby - yes I think we mean two completely different things when we refer to our own horse as fugly as when we refer to someone's "fugly stallion" LOL complete double standard
