I might try to do a training blog. She really is a nice horse, nicely put together for a TB, good feet, just bad hocks due to the race industry. Before I really accepted that she was in so much pain and had her evaluated, I was really riding her all the time, jumping, trail riding and pushing her. I felt so bad when the vet told me she was probably a 9 on the pain scale. I am lucky she didn't do worse to me. I wanted to help her realize it didn't hurt so much that I probably pushed too hard and should have quit after the first few mins of good behavior.
