I agree that the how and why are more important than the look; however, her trainer may be looking for her to get an idea of what he is talking about when he coaches her. If I remember correctly, CK's daughter is fairly new to serious riding. Maybe he is just trying to give her a better visual of what problems she is having. The concept can be fairly abstract if you have nothing to base your knowledge on. For example, if he tells her that her horse is on its forehand and beyond the vertical, she may not understand what he is saying without having "seen" and example of what he is talking about. Maybe it would be beneficial for Ck to video tape her daughters lessons so that she can "see" what he is talking about. The feel takes time and ultimately is the goal. I hope that makes sense. I am really tired and groggy;)

I would like to add that different people learn different ways. Some people need visual aids to better understand what they are doing to piece the feel to the look. Not always orthodox, but not necessarily wrong.
