He was such a trooper today. He was the youngest so we hadn't halter broke him yet. We got him in, haltered him, hosed him down, stuck him with needles and my little trooper never even flinched. He even let me tape ice packs all over his legs, behind his elbows... He was even great for the cath and stood like a champ while the fluids were running. Then we soaked up some air and we stood in front of the big fan for two hours so he could cool down. Poor little guy just perched his chin on my chest and hung his head there while I stroked his ears. He was even giving baby kisses to us at the end of the day. What a terrible loss.

It all just happened so fast. He was fine when we fed this morning. Respiration normal, he was eating and nursing, drinking water... Damn, this was just too fast. I still have his slobber stain on my shirt from the oral meds we gave him. I've never seen anything quite like this. This sucks. My little buddy is gone.

I'm not a bitch. I just say what some people are really thinking.
