oops just realized- I'm not implying your guys are fat.. mine was, horribly. And yes, they told me, nope, never been sore or had laminitis to my face. Hmmm, thats not what the vet records showed. Luckily it was minor and due entirely to being a overweight and on hard ground.

Howdy fellow Idahoan! I am down in the Twin Falls area half way between Twin and Pocatello. He was on Dream horse for a long time so you may have seen him. Did you send an email asking for pics from the seller? If you did and they were pics of winter time then that is him, lol. Small world.

Gus is nice and pudgy, lol. He has been on a diet and work out for the past two weeks. He has lost some weight but not much. I got him in April from a guy in Jerome that was less than honest about Gus' past. We have guessed what has happen to him from his reactions to what we do. He tried to kick me when I would clean out his hooves, he would freak out at water or any little noise, same with paper plastic anything that floated through the air. I have worked with him every day on the basics of manners and sacking out. He is a ton better now that just a few months ago. I can pick out his hooves with no problems and tonight we put some meds on a flesh wound on his hind leg and he just stood there calm and quiet.

Thank you everyone. I really lucked out with my drafty boys and my new Arab colt. I have had bad luck for many many yrs and it has finally turned around!
