Thank you!

Well, I like to name all my horses from either movie's or TV shows. Gertie got her name from the movie Jersey Girl. When I bought the gelding (which I later sold to my mother) I named him Ollie... again from Jersey Girl. As in Gertie and Ollie Trinkie. Haha.

Idgie came with name Twiggy (as in the supermodel). Bleh! So I thought of my favorite movie (Fried Green Tomatoes) and there you have it. Idgie Threadgoode was the blond rebel (tomboy) in the movie, cast opposite Marie Louise Parker. And the name Idgie stuck.

Marilyn's just a freak and she came with the name Twinkie. Since her registered name is Leggy Blonde, I thought, after she tried to cut her leg off and kill herself, that it was only fitting if I name her Marilyn. Miss Marilyn Monroe.

And my dog? Yeah, I couldn't decide on a name so she got 3. My stepdad, God rest his soul, thought she looked like a Phoebe Buffay (from Friends). I tought she looked like an Anastasia Beaverhousen (Karen from Will and Grace). So, she got the name Phoebe Buffay Beaverhousen. Some days we call her Phoebes, and some days we call her Beaver.

To top it off my mom named her yellow lab Cooter (apparently he has King Coot bloodlines). But I'm no dog expert.
