Hi, there is a train station in Hasselt, I don't know how far it is to the place where the show is, but I'm sure there is a bus to it. There is an airport in Brussels if you don't want to spend a long time on the train. We went to Berlin some time ago and it was about 10 hours on the train. It's cheaper, but it takes some time. I don't know the fastest train you can take to hasselt, but if you want to I'll inquire. Please send me the exact date of the show if you want accurate schedules. If I were you, I'd stay in Brussels for a couple of days, it's not that far from Hasselt and it's in the centre of the country and the biggest city. You can also visit the Netherlands if you want. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, ... You could ask Dutchy for some suggestions there. Hasselt is close to the border with the Netherlands.

If you are in Belgium, visit Brussels. You can visit lots of things and if you tell me what you like I can make more specific suggestions. You could also stay a few days and also visit Bruges. It's called the Venice of the Nord, so if you like Venice, you'll like Bruges. For better suggestions, tell me what kind of things you like and I will be happy to help you.

ETA: I looked up the date (november 7 in the Ethias Arena?) and did a search for the train schedule from Berlin to Hasselt. Here are some possibilities:

the colum "overstappen" means how many times you have to change trains, so certainly something to keep in mind. "vertrek" is departure, "aankomst" is arrival. I think you can load the page in English, but it isn't working. You can buy online tickets if you want.
Here are the trains from berlin to Brussels if you prefer to stay in Brussels and just go to Hasselt for the show:
