About judging-in the winter SS, I recieved a very low-ball gift. Did I mind? Hell no! Everyone always says gift cards are the cheap way out and that was all my SS got me. But they had taken the time to find something relavent to me. Book gift certificate is like, the fastest way to make me a happy camper.
On the other hand, I went over the price cap. And even though I did and my SS didn't, I didn't mind.

So that's on the other end of the spectrum, Penny&JB. If people are honestly going to be pills about it and whine that "MY SS ONLY SPENT THE MINIMUM-whinewhine-" then bully to them. They're selfish prats.
Thanks for the feedback TA. No whining here, just looking for info is all. I DID participate in the Christmas episode. I sent a gift that my giftee loved, and I received exactly what I had mentioned on my wish list. image

Yes I did And I loved them. I have no idea what you spent and didn't really care because they were something that I could wear and since they were in line with my style I had a ton of other stuff I could wear with them (they were silver heart earings). I didn't spend a fortune on my SS gift, it was allot of homemade stuff, but the shipping did put me pretty far over the limit, but I loved it and didn't mind, I always spend way too much every christmas anyway. Even in real life, every year for christmas and their birthdays I get my brothers and sisters a present (all 10 of them) and usually only get a present or 2 from my parents, and 3-4 of the older kids get together and buy me a $20 thing. I dont care, thats part of giving someone something. If your giving a present (in real life or SS with the expectation that your going to get something back then you shouldn't be playing.
