I spent way over a hundred dollars on my santee, I only gave her two items and I'm starting to feel bad because the general gist that I'm getting is that if you spent a lot of money you haven't put any thought into it. I just wanted to get someone something that would make them smile and I really enjoyed shopping for them.

I don't know how everyone else feels about capping off how many posts people have because I don't post a lot and I didn't flake out but I can understand being wary of very new people. I don't think there should be a maximum spend either because its the participating that counts!
Oh no I don't thing that is what anyone is saying. I think we are all saying that no one should feel bad if they can ONLY spend the minimum and it shouldn't stop them form participating. But that if you can only spend the minimum it should not be a blanket, generalized, generic gift. Not that anyone here has done that, but i think it has happened to others before on different occasions.
