I tend to judge riders baised on their horse/horse care

-cleanliness of their horse, and not just bath clean but groomed everyday clean. I assume people don't actually put a lot of time into their riding when their horse isn't even clean

-cleanliness of their tack. Tack is cleaned everyday at our barn, so I am accustomed to clean tack and think it shows that the rider genuinely cares about their appearance and puts in the time. If it isn't clean, I assume they don't care about the longevity and safety of their tack

-braids, bad braids make me cringe and look unprofessional, and I assume that the rider is either a newb or hopeless

-helmets, old velvet helmets that are faded brown make a rider stick out as a newb

There are things I judge about people's warm-ups and rides that are too in depth and dressage-specific to explain here, but these few things are a good indicator of how judgmental I am
