Beau - Yes, my husband said that about James Bond.

DnH - I love the .38, too. I didn't when I first got it, it was the first present he bought me and I had never shot a handgun. I might have shot a rifle by then. I didn't grow up in a 'gun' family. I was sort of like, "Uh. A gun? And some bullets? uh. Thanks." Now I love it.

Cindy - my husband loves Glocks. Definitely his favorite gun. I haven't shot one that feels right in my hand.

GM - I prefer the revolver, too. I refused to carry the first automatic he bought me, I was afraid that I'd be in a high stress situation and be firing wildly. I like the double action.

buckdoff - Did it take you aback? Were you like, "uh. A gun?"

pnhee - He's an addict, that's why. Thank goodness he's not a hoarder (too much).

NancyL - it's for sale.

MFP - Me, too. I <3'd him best.

TKN - I know! Remember I told you I was pretty sure my husband would trade one of his guns for that Spencer?

Laura - You make me smile.

Beau - I'd seen guns a few times in my life, but until I met my husband, I'd never shot one (or even had the opportunity to shoot one). My rifle is a Marlin .22. It's old, it's temperamental and I adore the stupid thing. So what if I can only load 2 bullets at a time, instead of 17 (because it will jam). We have a gazillion .22 rifles.

TRD - too late. I have a gun.

NMFD - I didn't think I'd ever have guns in my house either. Boy, was I wrong.

It's very likely that I did NOT read all the comments before replying. Deal with it.
