~blinks at all the mention of tack~
I'd hate to hear what some of you would say about my tack... I mean.. it matches color wise, sorta (shades of dark brown leather).....but that's about it.. and that's when I'm using tack. I'm sure some chick riding bareback with a hand-tied bridle made of hemp rope would garner some looks.
As for judging people based on their horse... I look first at the horse's condition (weight, level of fitness, hoof-care, and the look-feel of the horse ie: anxious eye, tight lip, floppy/happy ears/lips..etc as horses don't lie about the people handling them and the experiences they've had in their lives that's molded how they feel/act/behave)
I also look at the level of gadgetry that's been "attached" to said horse... seems the more shit stuck on the horse the more of a shit the rider is.
