A lazy horse. I want a horse that likes to work.
There's one horse here at the barn that's really lazy, and mean too, and I hate that horse. His owner is scared to ride, so she bought this really quiet horse. Quiet he is, as long as you don't ask him to go any faster than a really slow trot (it's so slow you can hardly do a rising trot), under saddle he doesn't even have air time, and it's a Dutch Warmblood. When anyone asks him to go faster and actually do something, he bolts, bucks, turns or any combination of that, and won't stop until his rider falls off, preferably leaving a nice skid mark.
He's been turned inside out by the vet, x-rays and all, and there's nothing wrong with him. And out in the pasture the F#$%!$* can move like a star.....
I already had something against lazy horses, but this one made me hate them.

And rearers. Especially the types that rear because they won't go forward, those are the really dangerous ones. I ride a friends horse that will sometimes get on his hind legs from anxiety before a cross country or jumping course, and although I don't like it, that's far less dangerous.
