3 a.m. this morning we caught Pantoum and led him into his temporary, crappy garage stall. He was none too pleased, but it was one helluva electric storm, and he's in a round pen with metal fencing. I didn't want to chance it. He was dancing at the stall door this morning and got off a ton of bucks and airs above the ground when I let him back out. Silly gelding!

I'm curious, though, about how to prevent lightening strikes in the pasture. Do people have ideas? Is there a book I can read?
