The "Meadow", but not like Bambi's meadow. You can't see the rope lead, I let him drag it around. Since he's arrived May 25th he's learned to give to pressure while grazing and stepping on the rope. He used to crouch and jump backwards when he pulled on the lead. Now he stops, moves his feet, and continues grazing *proud mom beaming!* This meadow does not have a secure fence, you can see the very low perimeter fence separating a driveway from the meadow. He doesn't go anywhere, though once when the "mare who is in perpetual season" was turned out with him he did consider jumping it. But...then he would no longer be in the yummy meadow.

Gus his paddock at his hay feeder. Max, the pony next to him that you can see behind his rump, is almost the same size as Gus. I park where the chevy is in the mornings when I give him his "extra 7am hay and supplements".
My daughter picked out the lime ballistic boots. He was tearing up his heels in the arena. These work great. *note - he ripped velcro off one of them when I hung them on a rail to dry.
