depending on her pasture mates, she might surprise you at her ease of being caught. Both my horses are kept outside year round, I'm a firm believer in my horses being able to use their feet, no better way then making them be horses. I notice a lot of spoiled "humanized" horses that are bad with people, are the same in big pasture situations.

Once the older horses start putting them into their place, you turn out to be not so bad. It's always funny to watch those horses, because the owners are freaking out that "i'll never be able to catch them again if I take their halter off" (I'm a big fan of no halters for turn outs, seen 5 horses die from hangings in my life, not mine, but that was five too many) and next thing you know, they're horse is the first at the gate going "HELP ME!"
