It will probably be wonderful for her to be turned out and just be a horse for awhile--I've never stalled a horse in my life (never had a barn, actually, unless it was emergeny--then we used the garage), and all of them have been fine. I whistle and rattle the grain bucket, and they come a-runnin. Do practice a bit in the round pen, and practice once she's loose, too; a couple times a day, just walk out with grain and a halter, catch her up, feed her and love on her, then turn her loose. The only problem I ever ran into was with mules, who KNOW that when you catch them, they'll have to work. Keep her guessing as to what's going to happen.
