It is wonderful having your horse nearby. When our lambs were born and
we had heart-lamps on in the barn, I was afraid the barn would burn down, so
I was up and out at two, three, four in the morning checking.

I've had our colt here since last September. The worry does go away; the
horse becomes part of the family, part of the chores, and a big part of your life!

I slept in our barn one night recently while my hubby was away. The company was
noisy. The lambs were blatting; my colt snoring and grunting and farting,
and everyone crunching on hay all night.
