It is a given that any bit can become a weapon in certain hands. I don't doubt that you can put a chain bit on a well trained horse and not have a problem. It doesn't change the fact of the abuse I have personally witnessed.

So they are bad because a few dumbasses misused them?
ANY bit can go that to a horse.
