Its not malicious. Malicious would be trying to kill the horse with repeated BB shots.
The manufacturers of that chain bit are preaching the same words as the bicycle chain bit, yet you refuse to see that both are harsh bits and only for expert riders to handle.
Its all about the money , no manufacturer is going to call its product bad.
