Thanks for the well-wishes everyone! I'm feeling much better today. Boys it's amazing how surgery and medication can screw up your body's functions! Leave it to me though to start my period the day after surgery.
My incision is not far from where my underwear sits and that made it fun for the first few days.
EVA, yes they did check for endometriosis and she found a small spot of it but nothing overly serious from what I gather. She said one theory/possibility is that the endometriosis travels from the uterus through the tubes and finds its way outside the uterus and since I don't have an ovary and tube on the left, and the right one's clamped, I shouldn't have any further issues. If so, they'll treat it hormonally which I'm leery of doing since I don't mesh well with the contraceptive pill.
What was neat about the whole thing is to see the pictures of the operation! She showed me the shots they took on the inside while they were in there. Geez I had no idea the uterus was so small when not in use. There's one picture that shows the uterus, and behind it (about three times the size) was this big, white looking ball and that was my cyst.
