The noseband is a little too wide, it gaps off the side of the face a little, and the top of the metal shanks rub slightly when the reins are pulled. it can be made to fit better by tightening up the curp strap, but she's not really happy at all with it overtight. She is a STB/TB cross, and her face dishes a little. I'll try to get pictures of how it fits if it would help, or of her head in general and measurements
_____________________________________________________________________________ Have you seen or tried this type of hackamore? It's a very popular one with performance trainers. The noseband will eventually wear & have to be replaced, but you can take it to a tack shop & have them do it very cheaply. Also you can use a double chan curb strap or leather curbstrap for a milder feel to the horse. I also replace the chain keeper at the bottom with leather or small thin rope that's a little bigger than twine. It gives me more leverage to let the shank flare out a little more for a better direct rein or indirect rein. http//www.thetackstop.com/bozosidepull.htm
