Haven't watched the video...

But just wanted to say I will be attending a speech by Grace Bowman, who represented Australia at Beijing in the Paralympics, tonight

She is a couple of years younger than me (I'm 20), and a few years ago suffered a horrific fall which left her a paraplegic. She got back in the saddle in record time, much to doctors amazement.

Then, only a couple of years ago her mother was killed in a freak horse accident.

Despite this heartache and tragedy she is still the nicest person, and her father and sisters still support her love of horses. That alone is amazing. That she has competed, and won, in open riding company (rides with two dressage whips for legs) and still attends the local Pony Club, let alone having competed overseasons in Beijing and England and placed at national level...she's absolutely amazing
