ahhhh now I am in a pickle!!

The lady who has my foal's stallion has contacted me about taking on a large pony broodmare bred to that stallion for 2010....for $250!! She had a riding career then injured her knee so she became a broodmare. Really nice mover and very kind, she is a large pony and a cross of some sort.

Now a lady we have bought a pony off (well known breeder) has also contacted me as she is downsizing and has a few 2 year olds she needs to get gone before winter as she doesn't have an indoor and doesn't have the time to get them going. I am going there this afternoon...in about an hour, with my camera to see what she has. Her prices will be a bit more than my budget right now but if I find something nice I can wait until my small pony sells to purchase. I've got someone coming to see her next weekend, who seem quite eager! Crossing my fingers there.

We have room for 2-4 more, so space isn't an issue. It's just a matter of who to choose now! I will certainly need everyone's help. I can't really go wrong with the broodmare as this stallion is SUPER nice and my foal by him this year is just stunning and has the best personality! Google Tantallon All American, he's a chestnut Sabino Welsh!

I will be back to update with pony pictures in a few hours!
