I think the black has nice legs, but agree that he looks sore. Like a few others mentioned, it is not abnormal for a lower end/claimer that is in not-so-good condition who just recently raced to be body sore, and he screams body sore to me. Sucked up, head low, ears back, probably tends to swap feet he's resting too right?

I'd tell them you'll give them $200 cash for the gelding, and $500 for the mare and be on your way:) I think I'd have to take the pony broodmare, but probably not the 2yr olds--not as quick of a resale project.

He may be body sore, but he shouldn't be. I guess that was my point. It's not normal for them to be body sore. It means something is wrong. It would be like me saying, oh that jumper is just body sore because he just jumped today. Is that right? Is that normal? No, because it indicates something is wrong. It's not okay for a horse to come out of a race sore. No no no no no!
