Oh man, I love that dappled mare! What a gorgeous horse! And I actually like Fat Butt quite a bit too...looks like she's making a wicked ponyface there, but I like little chunky ponies, and I even think once she gets a little more fit she'll be MUCH cuter. She looks like a little powerhouse.

LOL, man, KG, if someone ever said that to me before I got on a horse I'd kick 'em right in the teeth. I want to get on your average horse 'fresh' and with no expectations to make me tense, nervous, defensive, or anticipating. I can tell when a horse is going to throw a buck, that's all the time I need to prepare, and nine times out of ten, it works well for me. Well, unless you're a rodeo bronc rider, in which case, I sure hope there's going to be bucking involved. image
Yea, but look at the long head and that small slanted eye. And she looks really smooth and athletic too. That and her - ummmm - healthy stature. I'd sure warm her up good!

Expect more from your horse, and you will get it

When I ride my horse I get to forget I have a brain injury

I was the daughter who wouldn't lift a finger in the house but cycled madly off in the pouring rain to spend all morning mucking out a stable.
