EVA was a huge help to me and is the reason I was finally diagnosed, after not being 'right' for years.

When I first found out, the most depressing thing was when I read about it on forums, and article online. The most common thing I read was "Because the symptoms are so obvious and often can't be helped, the patient can become very depressed. It is important to focus on the things in life PCOS can't touch like friends, family, school and work.".

After reading about the 5th article that told me to not be suicidal, I gave up.
I am VERY active, and for a long time ate an amazing diet (not as low card as it should have been though, as I didn't know at the time). I've never beenable to drop below 140 (I'm 5ft tall).

I have jut been started on Metformin, I will let you guys know if it makes any difference.

evergrey, do you have any tips for eating low carb diets? Really easy recipes? I can't really afford to go grocery shopping right now so it has to be VERY cheap to make. For example-today I was insanley happy when I found half a package of Mr.Noodles, which meant I had food to take my pill with.
