Charley, that's sad

Heck, that's sad even if he was alive. To hate someone so much because of his opinion? What century do we live in? Why can't people respect someone who has a different opinion? Why do they have to alienate and demonize?

He wasn't perfect and made mistakes, and heck I didn't agree with him a lot, but still. He was a human being who made it his lifelong goal to better the American people by working for them, whether or not his opinions were right or wrong.

Plus, I guess his death really touched me since my liberal grandfather passed earlier this year ( http://www.ilga.gov/legis...egID=&SpecSess=&Session= )
