Again, I'm just playing devil's advocate here, but Hail to the Chief sounds more like "I believe in Rome, the Eternal, the mother of my country. I believe in the genius of Mussolini, and in the resurrection of the Empire" than the song does.
Not that it's complete bullshit indoctrination like the aforementioned Italian Nationalist pledge, but the point still stands.
