I'm running a little behind this morning, but didn't want to leave you all hanging. I'm sure you're on the edge of your seats waiting to hear Champ Show results. LOL But all I have time for is a recycled blog post. Sorry! I'll do better (and promise pictures) tonight after work.

After all the preparation, lessons and hard work, Champ Show 2009 is behind us. I can't believe it is over already, but what a rush. For my first time back in two years it was SO much fun! I struggled with Chic through the English classes. Wow, our English pattern was absolutely laughable. (or cryable as it may be) But western went so much better. I had a great ride in pleasure and I was so proud of my little girl. She really gave it her all and I was thrilled with our ride. Western horsemanship was a little stickier, but still awesome and we had a blast. Egg and spoon was down right scary. The horse in front of us was loping sideways along the rail! It was nuts in there. We did pretty well though. Hubby figures we were about 5 from making the cut. So we didn't make any cuts or place, but had a blast and I was just so honored and excited to be there!

Now Libby, Libby brought home the hardware. Man, that girl can ride. She makes me cry she is so amazing. Just watching her ride her pony or do a showmanship pattern will never cease to amaze me. She took her pony out in showmanship and despite the fact that her pony refused to trot off (no idea where that came from - so not Giggles), she still pulled off a 9th place finish. Way to go Libby and Giggles! In the riding classes Libby and Giggles were awesome. I was so choked up. This was the pony that we thought wouldn't be able to be ridden back in January when she had her accident on the ice. Thanks to the amazing vets at Harmony Vet Clinic and the best chiropractor in the world she is sound and moving good and placed 3rd in pony pleasure and 4th in pony horsemanship! This was a huge improvement for Libby over last year and we are so proud of the team of Giggles and Libby.

I love everyone's new siggys. I'm not nearly that talented, but whipped up one quick this morning for now. Here's hoping it shows up!
