Are you talking about these when he left VS the new ones? Lousy angles to figure out body condition. I can tell you the horse eats a lot and he is a 4 y/o so has some growing and filling out to do.
Yes his ribs look more visible and his hip protrudes a little more, I don't know what they are feeding and how hard he is being worked. He may have grown some, he may be adjusting to the colder weather. We had him on free choice grass hay (mostly timothy/brome), salt, minerals (RanchWay) nothing extra really. A little soaked beet pulp here and there just as a treat but not enough to make a difference.

When he got here initially he was on the lean side, after he watered up from the haul he looked like this (before below). He left in better condition. I know very little about what is going on with him now, you would have to ask the people who have him.
