I'm not picking on anyone either, but I'm agreeing with PDJ big time on this one.

I have not had a problem with colic with my horse, or the horse I used to lease(we're talking the last 9 years, both live at the same barn) and my BO has not had a problem either. 24/7 turnout. My mare got a little stomach ache when she ate too many green apples and was too lazy to go to the far pasture to get a drink this fall. I hand walked her and gave her a drink and she was fine.

I do not like the idea of having my horse stalled as part of her regular routine. On any given week SOMEBODY was colicky at the TB barn I worked at, and they had 12 hours out and 12 hours in. not too bad! but they still had issues and anxiety problems that had to do with being stalled.

It's an interesting way of showing the city slickers that nuggets don't grow on trees though. I kinda think it's funny. OMG!!! There's CHICKEN in my CHICKEN McNUGGETS!
