There's been a little poop, and she's doing ok - about 3am she was pretty bad, and I gave her some Banamine.

It's still looking like we're going to have to go to OSU, if only to have someone who can tube her and keep it moving.

KG, I wish it were 2k! I've been quoted 5k-7k. I (more correctly my parents) have and are willing to pay for it, but I will be doing at lot of debating once we get there. While I had hoped that this would be the horse that I could competed on and go far with, the priority is her comfort, and I won't put her through something that she doesn't have a good chance of living through and thriving afterwards.

The vet says that he thinks it's a combination of things. The hay is a bit stemmy (most horses here are easy keepers and fat off air), she's a bit picky, the weather was suddenly cold. BO did notice that she hadn't rinsed her grain that more per usual. Vet says that if it were the hay, feeding practices or T/O we'd have more than just one colic.

Beckham - Awww, thanks! I might be actually out of here by then, who knows, so just shoot me a text!
